Road trip: Rembau to Malacca

Ah... I am going to miss long weekend breaks... Last Monday which was Chap Goh Meh, my friends and I decided to have a trip to Rembau to visit Devissa! Rembau is actually located 45 minutes away from Seremban.

Chap Goh Meh: Hehe! Join the fun by throwing mandarin oranges to... Facebook and Twitter! Chap Goh Meh is when the single ladies throw mandarin oranges to the lake in hoping to meet their soulmates!
We arrived in Rembau and thought we could have a "huat" session. However, her parents were being so kind! Feed us with food and we ended up eating non-stop! Yeaps, Devissa's dad is a good cook and his restaurant is famous for its Hai Nam Chicken Chop!
My dear friends from university days...

Mui Fong Restaurant in Rembau serves delicious homemade Hai Nam Chicken Chop!

After lunch, Devissa suggested that we should go to Malacca for more food.  Ahaha... And of course, it sounded a great idea! Therefore, we agreed. We celebrated our Chap Goh Meh in Malacca!

Entering Jonker Street!

Spot my surname on the street =)
Everyone was queueing under the blazing hot sun for the bowl Nyonya Assam Laksa.
Yay! Finally, my bowl of laksa after the long queue. My messy hair proved that it was all hard work

After spending the whole day, snapping pictures around the historical city. It was dinner time! We walked to Dataran Pahlwan for some delicious Mille Crepe at Nadeje!

Look at the queue! =/
Again, the staff there was a little rude. Sish... Probably because of she was tired the whole day but.. raising your tone at us?  Seriously? They should have numbers on the tables if they wanted us to point out our seats to avoid food order mistakes.

Our Mille Crepes. Sigh, one thing I hate about public holidays, the usual delicious food will not taste as good as normal days. Kind of disappointed. (Got this crepes' pic fromNathan)
Oh well, that's how I ended my Chinese New Year celebration. How about you?
